The existentialism of ghosts is a very human crisis. The spirits that are embodied in the afterlife have left their imprint on mankind in various ways. The emotions of the dead are things that revolve around human interest in life.
Life isn’t supposed to be fleeting, but memories sometimes are. The more pressure there is to remember something, the more likely you are to forget. It’s an ironic conflict that has roots in the pursuit of happiness.
Americanization of the pursuit of happiness is a foundational belief for the country of the United States. The founding fathers placed it there for a reason. Ironically, everyone remembers the founding fathers. Their spirits inhabit a lot of the philosophy of which America was founded on.
If you think back to the roots of American society, there is a fair amount of spirituality present. From Native American beliefs in all kinds of various religions, there are spiritualities of the Earth that remain to be discovered. Native Americans believed a lot in Earth sciences. Their markets and economy were based on products that they could procure from the Earth. Their lives were based on this type of economic system. It was often nomadic, with traders moving from one Earthly location to the next, in order to exchange goods from different parts of the nation.
Further along the timeline, you have the colonization of America, another deeply religious event. With the migrants of Europe moving to escape the oppression of the beliefs of the churches there, America was seen as a new Holy Land where they could establish their own churches with their own practices and their own beliefs. It was a grand opportunity for religious reform.
The essential conflict here was between the Native American belief systems and the beliefs of the new American colonizers. The conflict of interests in religion ended up stabbing the Native Americans in the back in favor of establishing a new religious land with its own practices. The Native Americans eventually succumbed to the imposition of what was essentially a Crusade against the Native American religions.
Since Native Americans had all kinds of various beliefs, it was the goal of the new American colonizers to homogenize the nation under the Christian beliefs. The Native Americans were all slaughtered and tortured for holding their beliefs, and the Americans forced their beliefs upon the nation in various ways. The established American system is still around to this day.
Spiritually, there are a lot of ways in which the beliefs of Native Americans had influenced the nations in which they lived. All across North America, various peoples had various cultures in the types of societies that they had. They held beliefs in the afterlife such as maintaining the essence of the spirit after death. This type of treatment helped to connect humanity with the earth by making it possible to connect to the spirit world.
Holding beliefs in the spirit world is essential when it comes to the preservation of life after death. Astral projection of spiritual bodies helps to envision the ideals of life for other people that you wish your blessings upon. The boundaries that exist between humanity and the spirit world are broken when the human living spirit connects with the dead one. Emotions are present that maintain the balance, even when the physical body is motionless.
This type of belief system leads the way to reincarnation. Paying enough attention to other people helps to connect the emotions that you feel closest to and manifest them into real bodies. It’s an essential practice of attentiveness that holds the spirit in line.
